Sea trout fishing in Denmark

Basecamp Denmark Fishing Lodge

No planning

Last week I visted Denmark Fishing Lodgde with my friend Jarle. It was a very spontaneous trip. No planning, just ordering plane tickets, throwing some fishing gear in our bags and head for the airport.

After a 50 minutes flight we arrived at Billund airport in Denmark. From the airport to the Lodge there is a 1 hour 30 minutes drive.

The Lodge

*Outside the Lodge* The Lodge's farmyard has some small tables where you can enjoy your beer. *The Lodge reception* The Lodge reception. *The reception: Omar and* Inside the reception there is also a small shop where you can buy the fishing stuff you forgot home or broke during fishing. From the left: - Omar, the owner of Denmark Fishing Lodge. - Sandro, agent for [Avalon](http://www.avalon-europe.com/) - Jarle, chief of [Flyfish Europe](http://www.flyfisheurope.com/) *Inside the Lodge* The Lodge is a great place to get some work done, relax, eat or plan your fishing. *Inside the Lodge, birds view* Just had to show you the great oil painting of a sea trout. *Valentina and Natasha* Valentina and Natasha served superb authentic Italian food with great humor and a big smile. This alone was worth the stay. They made us feel special. *Preparing for some fishing* Ok, so we also did some fishing, but we had no luck catching anything this time. *Leaving* Heading back to the airport 48 hours after we arrived. For sure, I'll be back soon...
